Rene A.

Rene A., originally from Chile, relocated to Davie, Florida, where he navigated the complexities of youth and formed deep-rooted bonds, including a lifelong friendship with the show’s host, Teddy Tarantino. Growing up in Davie, Rene was immersed in a tight-knit Hispanic community that shaped much of his early experiences and values.

As he journeyed through life, Rene encountered three pivotal moments that profoundly impacted his trajectory. The first was a harrowing incident where he had to defend himself, tragically resulting in the loss of another person’s life. The second was the heart-wrenching discovery that his newborn daughter, a symbol of joy and hope, was fathered by his closest friend. Despite these overwhelming challenges, Rene’s story is not one of despair but of resilience and redemption. He has battled addiction, facing it head-on, and has emerged with three years of sobriety under his belt. His journey speaks volumes about the strength of the human spirit and the importance of support, determination, and faith in overcoming life’s adversities.

Now at 36, Rene is looking forward to a brighter future. He’s engaged to be married and is a devoted father to his 3-year-old daughter. His experiences, both the highs and the lows, have shaped him into the person he is today: a testament to the
